Sorry for not writing in Bella Torta lately. It's been a combination of exams and myself wondering what exactly would be appropriate to write here.

I had a whole entry written below here, but I deleted it, instead is a stupid story I wrote when I was a Junior in high school (only a portion of it). It's a period piece that takes place during mid-19th century America.

EMILY

Emily Winteres sat by the windowsill in her father's library. The curtains were pulled wide open to expose the room to the bright sunshine. Emily had beside her a copy of the latest Southword novel that her father had given her before he went to England on a business trip. But what she had in her hand was Agassiz's Contribution to the Natural History of the United States. She was a heavy reader, but only because she really didn't have anything in particular to do and loved the pursuit of knowledge. As she flipped through the last few pages of the book, she wondered why the heorine always got married at the end. Was it such a wonderful thing to e

Okay, nevermind, it's a stupid story to begin with. I just wanted to write something so that Kei could have the next slot to write in.

yee.. gotta make quick entry (@_@; so busy lately. and the heat is horrendous. of course, it's horrendous to me now, but then when i think of it, i am really going to die in japan. (@_@; i don't have that much summery clothes even.

so i finally finished coloring the hikago stuff. it took me days on end, but i did it. (@_@;;

HIKAGO DOUJINSHI PLUG
still thinking, but think about it.

(@_@; i am relieved to get it all done, but nothing else in the world is, i swear. god, exams start on wednesday. **sweats** (@_@; i don't know what's going on anymore, but yes! must press on!!!

right now, i hate photography with all my chinese medicined guts. i had two rolls of film ruined last week, by the same method, using the same freking camera. asddsfafjd i don't understand it, i don't... please, just leave me alone. (@_@; so i don't know if i can get this final project in on time.. **dies** i hate photography, i hate it. i'm failing photography and physics to bits. i can't stand it. (#_#;;

here's some old things i found on my computer that might cheer one up. it's kishimoto~~!!

hahaha... the most bitchingest picture of him ever. just look at that face... (^3^)

geez, what's going on here? he thinks he's winning... but.. haha.. i'm about to capture a bit piece of territory.. XDD stupid kishimoto.

kishimoto is actually very hard to beat. (^^; i had to get my brother to help me. we still can't beat akira for hte second time. akira is hard. (@_@; i wonder if we get to touya koyo after? who knows...

haha, rereading the entry. "hello, my name is kreiko and unfortunate things happen to me. i have no money. i also have A.D.D." but, right now, i'm happiest that i've been all week. (;_; hurrah for hikago doujin. i need a job. (@_@; i want to go to japan. thank you saico for being there.

ah, it ends up being a long entry anyways..

Caption: Shena Ringo's new cover album is out! Buy it if you have the money, unlike yours truly that is total broke. BLEH!

I scanned in my Lareine doujinshi. Not all of it. The pages didn't scan very well, I meant the screentone. I wonder if it will turn out that way in the print shop. I'm worried. X_X: EEP. This means that maybe I need to redo the screentone?! (aw, but I really don't want to, what a nuisance. -_-;). You guys can all take a look: (1) (2) (3) (5) (9)... These are all of the pages that I have managed to be completely done with. They are only 5. Bleh. Well, I got the new improved script, so I can take the time off today to cut and paste those new lines, I'll have 2 more pages done. This is a very slow and painful process. X_X;

Also finished up Hikago doujinshi on Sunday! Yes! *relief* X_X; Everyone else's work looked fantastic. Our book will be great, albeit a bit on the wacky and weird side. I wonder what kind of freaks will buy our book. LOL.

(@_@; today i am tired. (@_@; okay. three more hikago pages to ink. (@_@;;; ahh.. it will be worth it..

today i went to fabric of dreams at school, that thing i got the poster for. it wasn't as good as it was "hyped up" to be. (^^; it was mostly a bunch of strange alternative crap that focused on nightmares and not dreams. (@_@; so dumb how they managed to make it a dark theme after all.

i really only went since so many of my friends were in it. (^^; and really, the only good pieces were the ones my friends were in. (^^; i wonder if it is biased to say that, but it's true. the other stuff was hokey. there was weirdos pretending to be animals and stuff (@_@;; it wasn't done well even, just dumb. and one piece claimed to have animation in it but it was just images flickering on a computer screen. (@_@; and there was this other small skit thing that was probably the worst of all the things i saw there. (@_@; rubber chicken abuse and whatnot.

jordyn, christine, colleen, lara, heather, taryn, kendra, zohreh, steve; tho most of you don't read this, good job on your work today and good luck tomorrow night. you guys totally blew the other performances away.

hee, i got some pictures of jordyn and christine with their masks on at lunch today. they told me to put it up, so:

and some shoes... mine, christine's, and jordyn's chucks (tho they dont' look like chucks here. sorry.)

and some old stuff that was still on my computer:

i'm tired now so i'll stop. (@_@;;; angie owes me three dollars and my throat hurts. i hope she loses the photography contest. (@_@; christine will win anyways. harharhar.. since drew and angie's pictures suck. and since they don't read this i can say that.

Though the day started out terrible. Slowly it is becoming a bit better. I wasn't accepted to Comiket, but Helene-san said that I could sell the doujinshi at her table (she is so kind, I almost cried when I heard the news). Also, I will try to get a table at Comic City in Ariake instead. The event is on the 18th of August, a day before I leave for the US again. Ganbatte! Anyway, I'm just glad that I can finish up the Lareine doujinshi this summer.

Today I also got a chance to talk to Miyuki-san. She is fan of manga and such, mostly Slam Dunk and other manga series. She is probably Helene-san's age. We went over the script. She was so kind! She did a lot more than I had expected. She said that she had enjoyed reading it. I was so happy to hear that. A feel of excitement and happiness overwhelmed me as I went over the script and saw how my words were in Japanese. I had written the Japanese first and later the English translation; Miyuki-san went over it all and changed and adjusted things to make it seem more casual (I was too polite? LOL) and such. She was so kind. It really made my day. Apparently she was also part of a circle during high school, not as an artist, but as someone who helped with the layout. I was glad to give the script to her, because she knows about and understands the doujinshi culture better than some of the other Japanese people I know on campus.

You know, I think I fall in love so many times a day. I could be love with the smell of the air at the moment or in love with the beautiful sunset or in love with the unknown person on the street that was kind to me for moments only. I could be in love with a box I bought home to arrange my 45s or in love with the book I'm reading or in love with the flowers on the road side. Every day though many different things happen, I try to find something that I am in love with. Even though there are down times, I suppose I am in love with life and the fact that I'm living. Though I feel an air of falseness in the things around me sometime, there is no reason why I shouldn't participate and enjoy this world while I'm here. So everyday, I fall into a sort of platonic love with the world ten times a day, but I fall in love the most when I am listening to jazz. Paris brule t il?
